target=_blank Tag Question (Oct 27 2004 01:58 GMT) - The site appears as an html page in Internet Explorer, but it is a text file. If you save it in notepad as DIFFERENT_OUTDOOR_ADVENTURES. htm and put it back up online, it will appear as an html page in other browsers, too. Though that probably won't solve your problem with new windows not launching when you use target. I looked through your html at your links to see if there were problems with any of them that might cause a window not to launch. |

Check 21 and substitute checks (Oct 27 2004 01:58 GMT) - After being deluged this morning with news about the changes coming Thursday to U.S. check cashing laws, I did a little bit of surfing around to see what I should know. Pretty much every single resource I found said that the most important thing that consumers should understand about the changes is that you should assume that the physical, actual check that you write completely ceases to exist at the moment that it is cashed. (This is because banks will now scan checks at the point of deposit, and then process them entirely from the information in the scan. |

When youth departed reasoning died (Oct 27 2004 01:55 GMT) - How sweet it was when I was five, and did not know then how to hide, those rooted feelings deep inside, which later peaked and did me guide, a path alone and out of stride. Then I learned that I must hide, for the sake of others' pride, deny myself and thus abide, and act against my true inside. Now looking back when I was five, how happy cheerful and alive, those rooted feeling did not hide, but jumped and played with me inside, and laughed and dreamed as if in stride, and did not damage others' pride. |

Some quick statistical analysis: (Oct 27 2004 01:52 GMT) - Heard from a colleague today: There are 380 tons of explosives missing from Iraq. It takes about three pounds of explosive material to build a rather effective roadside bomb.
