Black, Cincinnati Enquirer - Bin Laden is in China, by Gordon Thomas, El Mundo QUOTE OF THE DAY "I see in the near future a crisis approaching. The Photo iPod is something ... (Oct 27 2004 14:59 GMT) - The Photo iPod is something I've been interested in ever since rumors surfaced it was in the works. I'd love an easy way to carry digital snapshots around, and I usually have an iPod in my bag as it is. My biggest concerns are the screen size - us over-40 types prefer screens larger than 2 inches (we're the guys scrambling for cheater glasses to use our cell phones) - and the price, $499 for 40GB and $599 for 60GB. Ouch. I was pleased to see that the iPod is compatible with Photoshop Elements and Album on Windows (I have Album on my Wintel laptop). |

Dens Of Iniquity (Oct 27 2004 14:58 GMT) - It’s not just the US that has political problems right now—our very own den of iniquity, the European Parliament, is fraying at the edges too. A Fistful of Euros has the rough details of what has been going on today, but basically one of the straws that finally (and unsurprisingly) broke the camels back was that a certain Mr Buttiglione, an Italian who recently said that he regarded homosexuality as a sin and suggested that unmarried women made bad mothers, had been put forward for the post of justice commissioner.
