Trusted Mobile Platform Specifications Released for Industry Review (Oct 28 2004 23:25 GMT) - Trusted Mobile Platform specifications defining security features for mobile devices have been released for public review by IBM, Intel, and NTT DoCoMo. TMP is described as a comprehensive end-to-end security architecture for mobile wireless platforms which can help make advanced mobile-commerce services such as electronic tickets and e-wallets more secure. WS profiles are defined (WS-Security, SAML, XACML, etc.) with a new Fair Contract Signing Protocol. |
