How do you know when a keyword is 'Over SEO'd'? (Oct 28 2004 23:12 GMT) - If you're moving up a level in competitiveness, it probably means you're also going to be playing against some different techniques :) It could be that what you're doing is just less effective against whatever they are doing? May be that AdWords is worth doing anyway. |

Hobbit Remains Found (Oct 28 2004 23:10 GMT) - "The hobbit was nobody's fool," Roberts said. "They survived alongside us [Homo sapiens] for at least 30,000 years, and we're not known for being very amiable eco-companions. And the hobbits were managing some extraordinary things—manufacturing sophisticated stone tools, hunting pygmy elephants, and crossing at least two water barriers to reach Flores from mainland Asia—with a brain only one-third the size of ours. |

The Wacky World of Love Hotels (Oct 28 2004 23:10 GMT) - There are some hotels that let guests use sado-masochistic toys, but I don't like guests who improvise in their rooms. It's very difficult to clean up the candle wax. Also, I hate it when they use the bed for a toilet. |

I Grabbed Your Boobs on Sunset. (Oct 28 2004 23:10 GMT) - t was when you were pepperspraying the shit out of me that we locked eyes for a moment. It was incredibly painful to keep my eyes open, due to the intense sting from the pepperspray, but I noticed how goddamn gorgeous your blue eyes were, and I think I noticed a moment of hesitation, almost admiration, perhaps. |

How badly can you spin something? (Oct 28 2004 23:10 GMT) - Yesterday I wrote about a BBC documentary called The Power of Nightmares. I've watched 2 of it's 3 parts and found it to be a thoughtful and though provoking piece of journalism. It alleges, in short, that Neoconservatives in America have consistently manipulated events to create a situation in which they can flourish and use their power to remake America in their image. I asked 'ol SuperNode whether there was any way for US viewers to see the program and make their own minds up about it. He thought the best chance was probably BBC America. |
