- The October 22nd New Westminster (British Columbia) News Leader had an article about the school district's celebration of National School Library Day. The plan was for guest speakers--superintendents, police officers, an Edmonton Oilers goalie--to visit the Kindergarten to Grade Eight classrooms and read from their favorite books. The response was larger than expected, so School Library Day (Oct. 25) was extended to last a whole week. |

- Brookens Library at the University of Illinois at Springfield (UIS) and Springfield's Lincoln (public) Library do a lot of things together. They have a reciprocal borrowing agreement, so people from UIS can borrow from Lincoln and Lincoln's patrons can borrow from UIS' library. Their Friends organizations hold fund-raisers together. Now the Brookens Library is looking into the possibility of building a branch of the public library on campus. A $35,000 Library Services and Technology Act grant will pay for a feasibility study to see if the plan would work and to start designing the branch. |

- JE VAIS ESSAYER DE FONCER DANS LE TAS comme au bon vieux temps Le matin: je monte/descends, le long de la corde raide , je monte en descendant en pointill les noeuds de la corde, ces noeuds en moi . Accrochent. A moins qu'ils ne referment un ocan de vide une fois dfaits, mais ils ne se dferont jamais pour mieux faire bloc l'unisson. Je passe dessus, J'en lche les contours la peur et le mal au ventre... |

- Je me sens prise d'une vigueur bloguesque en ce moment, c'est fou. J'ai d'ailleurs remarqu que cette vigueur est proportionnelle la masse de devoirs inachevs qui me nargue dans mon agenda. En l'occurrence 2 exos de physique, 2 pages d'exos d'anglais, une recherche et 5 questions en allemand et plein de vocabulaire, un correction en franais, et pour vendredi une recherche en go, un exo de maths, une recherche en anglais, et un commentaire en franais. D'ailleurs avis aux lecteurs qui auraient envie de se voir assigner l'honneur de faire mes devoirs. Tiens, j'ai envie de profiter de ce blog mondialement connu pour adresser mes remerciements la personne qui a invent le bulletin de mi-trimestre, ainsi qu' ma prof de SVT pour ne pas l'avoir rempli, passk'un zro a fait tache. |
