- Many years ago as a photo assistant in Chicago I had the fun of helping to photograph the original Morris the Cat for a book. I'd set him up on a typewriter, put sunglasses on him, etc. Morris' skill was that you could pose him anyway you wanted and he would hold that pose for 20 seconds, then he would shake off your props or maybe return to his cage for a little rest. A few years later I wanted to photo my Siamese, John Wesley Hardcat, or Wesley. Cats are difficult to photograph because their fur eats light like crazy. |
