Short List of ADF Business Components Key Benefits (Oct 31 2004 19:14 GMT) - Regardless of your choice of implementation technology in the backend business service tier, Oracle ADF offers much developer productivity goodness in the form of our standards-based, declarative data binding layer, rich Struts integration, and the Oracle JDeveloper 10g visual tools that support these. However, I was recently asked by a developer pondering his business service technology choices to succinctly describe the key value-add that our ADF Business Components provide for building his business services so that he could easily decide whether or not they were the right choice for him. |

BEGINNING TO BUY THE NEWSWEEK POLL (Oct 31 2004 19:13 GMT) - The passage contained in this story makes me wonder if the Newsweek poll showing President Bush establishing a 6 point lead isn't at least somewhat accurate: A Newsweek poll showed the president moving ahead of Kerry in the popular vote,... |

Google somewhat likely to provide a Mac desktop search tool (Oct 31 2004 19:13 GMT) - I admit that's a pretty hedgy headline even for a rumor, but soon after the Mac web became abuzz with news of a Macintosh version of Google's semi-controversial Windows desktop search tool, BoingBoing posted their take. Evidently, even though a Mac port is likely, Google CEO Eric Schmidt didn't exactly make any promises at the Internet Anniversary event in Los Angeles. It seems the story may have been blown a bit out of proportion, but not so much that the claims are necessarily wrong. There's nothing like a good mysterious rumor. |

He's running against Kay Hagan, one of the most powerful legislators in Raleigh, and one of the best things Greensboro has going for it. |

Russian Stem Cell "Medicine" (Oct 31 2004 19:09 GMT) - A recent article details unregulated Russian stem cell frauds and pseudoclinics - not exactly a shining example of what can be achieved. Russians seem to have the worst of all worlds; enormous levels of fraud, a population that doesn't yet seem to have learned the merits of caveat emptor, poor educational infrastructure, an ineffective and overbearing state, and the inability to develop effective private review, rating and monitoring organizations. Vladimir Bryntsalov, a Moscow pharmaceutical tycoon, decided last year on the advice of a friend to seek a treatment for the gray hair and wrinkles that come with being 58 years... |

Der mhsame Weg der Erkenntnis... - 31.10.2004 18:34 (Oct 31 2004 19:06 GMT) - Wenn I.P. |
