It?s Been a While Since I? (Oct 31 2004 23:20 GMT) - ...wrote. I haven't been writing for the main reason that my website has been down for a few days. I blame everyone but me for that. Last week was unproductive. We had a bit of a house night out on Thursday (minus Mark). |

THE SCARIEST HALLOWEEN COSTUME YET (Oct 31 2004 23:19 GMT) - From Illinois-resident Andrew Quinn, aka Teenage Pundit (link isn't working so we can't offer it right now): "This year, I've decided to not go trick or treating. However, in the true holiday spirit, I've still dressed up to answer... |

The History of Halloween and a whole lot more. (Oct 31 2004 23:19 GMT) - "Every year, right around Halloween, we are treated to an outpouring of what can only be described as "scare" literature telling us all about how the holiday is 'satanic' and evil, and should not be celebrated by Christians. These opinions are backed up with some rather unusual and very frightening fantasies masquerading as historical facts. This article is -not- intended to address whether or not Satan exists, nor to show that 'witches' are all nice, grainola-eating vegetarians and tree-huggers who wouldn't harm a fly, nor is it an attack on Fundamentalist Christianity, but rather a discussion concerning some of the so-called 'facts' offered in some of the anti-Halloween publications. |

Sparks couple take vote battle to state high court (Oct 31 2004 23:19 GMT) - The Ambersons' receipts show their forms were among those assigned to Voter's Outreach of America, which is operated by Republican-backed Sproul & Associates of Phoenix. I think if I was the slimebag running this dog and pony show in Nevada I'd be getting a bit nervous right about now,,voter fraud is some pretty serious stuff. |

Separate stylesheets for printer and different screens sizes (Oct 31 2004 23:18 GMT) - I'm not too certain what you're asking, but I think this may help: when printing pages, it doesn't matter what background colour you use because browsers will print them out as a white background, black text, anyway. I think that's what you needed to know..but feel free to rephrase your question if you need to. : |

http://archive. scripting. com/2004/10/31#When:2: (Oct 31 2004 23:18 GMT) - On Tuesday at 9AM Pacific, we'll re-open enrollment for BloggerCon for 75 people. There's not much science to this, just a gut feel that our current registration list has at least 75 no-shows. We're getting a lot of requests from people about this, but I don't know many of them, and have no way to decide. So we'll add another 75, and then get on with the conference. |
