New Bolshevik Flag Weds Elements Of History's Deadliest Movements (Dec 01 2004 23:59 GMT) - Stumbled across this ominous looking banner. It was taken at the congress of the National Bolshevik Party in Moscow. Students of history will note it melds elements of both the symbols of Communism (the hammer and sickle) and the color scheme of the Nazi flag. I use contact lenses during the day, however driving at night in them is like driving through a million lighted Christmas trees so I wear glasses. I cannot read very well at close distance with these at night. Arriving at George Street Marble Arch I traipse around until I find a parking space. The little notice on the tree says Residents Parking from 9 am to 6. |
