This Deer Hunting Stuff Is Weird. (Dec 01 2004 03:59 GMT) - Count me as one of this season's deer former skeptics. It's not a case of me not believing the deer are out there; it's more a matter of having the right set of conditions come together. I've hunted hard during the 16-day firearms season that ended tonight. I can count... |

Who sows the wind reaps the tempest (Dec 01 2004 03:56 GMT) - A good example of how the chickens are coming home to roost for the Democrats: A Boston Globe article on heavy-handed GOP government governing mentions, but doesn't fairly examine, the Democrats' use of intragovernmental rule-making as the seeds of their current predicament. The article is also a very good example of the kind of legislative judo that the Dems are going to have to use to get the upper hand again. Then again, it could be read as a warning that for the country to get good government, both parties are going to have to swear off this kind of nonsense or eventually we'll get a party so in charge that they change the rules to prevent any opposition whatsoever. |

Management would like to be able to charge for the wireless access from our customers. Because of the desire to charge, I have not been able to find any Open Source software, and just a few commercial offerings. I have checked out PublicIP and LessNetworks wireless management software, but neither has a direct billing option. |
