Beached and Pooped Again (Dec 06 2004 05:41 GMT) - Another day packed with hilly walking, shopping, and overindulging on good food. While Peter was spectating at the University of Washington basketball game, I was literally pawing my way through some of the more interesting parts of Seattle. I attempted three urban Seattle geocaches today and only hit the jackpot on one of them. Urban caches are exceedingly difficult - because of the tall buildings, a solid GPS signal is impossible. Pedestrian traffic is heavy and as a result the caches are usually very small and very well hidden - making them much more difficult to find. |
