22-D (Dec 08 2004 23:29 GMT) - VICENT FRANCH EL PAÍS - 08-12-2004 Para empezar, se cuestiona desde el Gobierno Valenciano la idoneidad de la AVL para pronunciarse sobre la entidad de la lengua propia de los valencianos abordando el tema de la doble denominación -valenciano y catalán-, pretendiendo que la propia institución acuda al CJC para preguntar si puede o no pronunciarse sobre la materia, cuando se sabe que la AVL no puede dirigirse a aquél, por disponer la ley que lo creó que sólo el Gobierno Valenciano y los Ayuntamientos -en asuntos muy restringidos-, pueden pedir dictámenes, que, por otra parte, no son vinculantes. A la vista de esta obviedad, el Gobierno Valenciano le pregunta al CJC si la AVL puede o no dictaminar sobre el nombre de la lengua, sobre si denominarle de cualquier otro modo conculca el EACV, esperando, lógicamente que aquél diga que no antes del 22 de diciembre, que es la fecha designada para que el pleno de la AVL se pronuncie sobre un documento que ya dispone de 13 votos favorables (de 21), y donde, por lo que se sabe de él, no se propone ni el cambio legal de nombre de la lengua propia de los valencianos ni la adopción legal de la doble denominación, sino las razones que avalarían desde la perspectiva de los peritos en lengua que son los académicos que la doble denominación no fuese contemplada como una arbitrariedad. |
