- This afternoon it was the Scottish Blogmeet in Edinburgh -- and I'm delighted to report that the attendance figures were officially 100% greater than the number of people who turned up to the last blogmeet in the summer of 2002. Okay, so our attendance numbers are unlikely to rival those of the London Blogmeet (also happening today). However, Gordon and I still had a good time -- even if it was just the two of us. As it was, it turned out that The Hub Cafe wasn't the greatest of venues (quite expensive and not confortable), so after an hour and a half, we retired to the Jolly Judge (a pub with free wi-fi access -- a fact that may appeal to uber-geeks) for several more drinks. Indeed, we were still at it at 8pm. |
