Blogito Redux (Dec 15 2004 20:59 GMT) - A lesson in modern Latin. Daniel Drezner's article Web of Influence is quite a comprehensive exploration of the blogosphere and its influence on real life. Unfortunately, the heading for the penultimate section is "blogo ergo sum" rather than "blogito ergo sum". Aside from the latter's Cartesian overtones and the fact that I coined the phrase, a simple GoogleFight shows that "blogito ergo sum" is the preferred form. Perhaps we'll need to have the keepers of Modern Latin adjudicate this dispute... |

Kan ikke starte i dos (Dec 15 2004 20:58 GMT) - Jeg forsøger at få min maskine til at starte op i dos, men uanset, hvordan jeg vender og drejer mine IDE kabler, vil svineriet ikke boote på min startdisk. Jeg har tjekket at den virker på en anden maskine og forsøger jeg at installere direkte fra min win 98 skive er det ikke muligt, da drevet jo ikke er formateret. Er der en alternativ måde at komme ind i dos på - jeg har en xp, men det er kun en opgradering. |

Nymex Crude Prices Top $44 on Bullish Data (Dec 15 2004 20:58 GMT) - Oil prices surged more than 6 percent today to top US$44 a barrel after data showed an unexpected decline in inventories. The federal Energy Information Administration reported that crude stocks fell by 100,000 barrels to 293.8 million barrel last week, while inventories of distillate fuels such as heating oil remained flat at 119.3 million barrels. |
