Even the executable file compressed or the size of the icon is inconsistent, it can replace easily ! It can also change the icon of Dll, Ocx, Scr and so on. The icon of folder and driver can be changed by it too. If you want to extract and save the icons in exe, it will be your first choice. |

Dan Gillmor Breaking News Ground (Dec 17 2004 23:36 GMT) - There's been a lot of speculation about the future of news media and the supposed demise of the fourth estate. I don't know if it will go that far since blogdom has a vast credibility gap to overcome (though admittedly mass media is far from perfect.) Some people think WikiNews will slay Goliath, but my bet is on Dan Gillmor's venture having a better chance since (as he states) there are many learned-lessons and time-tried tools that a journalist can bring to bear on this new front. |
