Re: Customizing XML Feed Titles, Editor Emails, Etc. for different categories? (Dec 18 2004 02:43 GMT) - Hi Donovan - So to your knowledge there is nothing out there for this? Wow, a great opportunity for a tool. Radio UserLand's best feature, I think, (and most unique feature) is the ability to update blogs all over the place (for those of us that have multiple blogs on multiple subjects). It seems like a basic need to be able to have a different email address for each categories XML feed. I just got into Radio UserLand (2 days old! |

New York visit (Dec 18 2004 02:42 GMT) - With the legislative session set to start on January 4th, Ellen and I wanted to squeeze in a short vacation. Early Saturday morning we left for New York city, staying through Tuesday. While it was only a four day vacation, we had a wonderful time in New York. My older brother Tom has lived in New York for many years. We were able to spend a good portion of Sunday with Tom and his wife Emily. |

Query symbols meaning: all, and all not empty (Dec 18 2004 02:41 GMT) - For sub-project 1 (code-name: kickitch — I finally got sick of not having a simpler way to refer to it in these blog posts!), I am working with datasets that are represented in different formats, including XML and tabular ones. A big difference between XML and tables is that XML is sparse (missing or n/a data is not represented by a placeholder), whereas tabular formats are dense (missing or n/a data is represented by default or null values). |
