Background should include 5-7 years of test work which in most general terms uses the output of a control system to ascertain the response of a mechanical system. For the subject position, the mechanical system is matrix of ballscrew type actuators, interconnecting flexshafts, a primary drive unit (motor), and various types of safety locks and brakes that are employed in an aircraft thrust reverser system.
