Glassamucky Mountain (Fieldnotes by FourWinds) (Dec 19 2004 10:17 GMT) - I have an odd relationship with this site and I have been drawn back here again and again, especially around the winter solstice. On my second visit I noticed that to the southwest the peak of the Great Sugarloaf Mountain in County Wicklow poked up over the false horizon created by the edge of Glassamucky Mountain and decided to check out whether there was a winter solstice alignment. If there was then this would be the first such alignemnt observed at a bullaun stone. For three years I have come here and ... |

De to computere snakker ikke sammen (Dec 19 2004 10:16 GMT) - Jeg har to stationære computere, som jeg ville oprette netværk imellem, fordi jeg skal have back-up af nogen filer. Jeg har deaktiveret XP firewall på dem bgge (sp2). Delt de dreve der skal deles. Men det hjælper ikke. Jeg har prøvet at køre den der mindre hjemme eller kontornetværk, men det hjælper ikke. |

Lou Lingo will be missed (Dec 19 2004 10:16 GMT) - Pictured above, the casket carrying Lou Lingo rests while members of the family, friends, students, and community members pause to remember Lou Lingo's accomplishments with the Band program at the Santa Paula Elementary School District. The funeral was held at the Pierce Brothers Santa Paula Cemetery Thursday morning. School Board members take seats (Dec 19 2004 10:16 GMT) - The Santa Paula Elementary School District has held their reorganization meeting. New trustee Gary Marshall and returning board member Ofelia De La Torre took the oath of office from retired appellate court justice Edwin Beach. Later the board elected trustee Dan Robles as President of the Board. Michelle Kolbeck was chosen as Clerk of the Board. |

SPUHSD board holds reorganization meeting (Dec 19 2004 10:16 GMT) - The board of trustees of the Santa Paula Union High School District has held their reorganization meeting.Three trustees were sworn in, two were unchallenged in the recent election, one won the balloting. Terry Nelson, Robert Salas and Catherine Sepulveda all took the oath of office, administered by district superintendent Dr. David Gomez. The newly seated board quickly moved to elect trustee Christina Urias as the new President of the Board, replacing Robert Salas. |

Association of California Water Agencies outreach program (Dec 19 2004 10:16 GMT) - The Association of California Water Agencies (ACWA) presented its second annual Outreach Program Award to United Water Conservation District (UWCD) on December 1st. United Water’s general manager Dana Wisehart was on hand to accept the award, which was presented at ACWA’s Annual Fall Conference in Palm Springs. |
