- Server blocks the majority of spam but i still get 10-20 spam emails a day, with the large number of accounts i have i don’t think that’s too bad. Problem with html emails is the tracking codes on image urls which let the spammer know they have a working email address. Having html emails off is just an extra security precautions with outlook. Even though i have anti-virus software on the server, on my pc and firewall, there are always some users who first get hit my a new virus or exploit, I’m just limiting the risk. If i setup a PC for someone i do they same for them as i’ll be the one they call when it goes pear shaped. |
