KURO-SHOT Flash Memory Stick Camera (Dec 21 2004 14:56 GMT) - Here's my first thought upon seeing the KURO-SHOT flash memory drive with a VGA camera (besides that I want an orange creamsicle). When is Philips going to update the KEY019? I can't tell you how many people have flipped out when I recommended it to them, then backed off when they discovered it only has 128MB of memory built-in (although this KURO-SHOT has even less, at 64MB). I want to see the KEY020 that's half the size with 1GB of memory built-in. USB Memory-sized digital camera, KURO-SHOT [TechJapan] |

Subscriber Customizations Temporarily Deactivated (Dec 21 2004 14:55 GMT) - As regular Pocket PC Thoughts readers are aware, the past six months have been rough on our server - it's been suffering stability problems from exceedingly high load (which happens when lots of people visit it). We've had daily phpBB "critical error" messages, and it's been common to have the site become unavailable one or more times a day. flickrsucks.com (Dec 21 2004 14:54 GMT) - Hell, domain names are cheap, and a company has every right to buy every possible domain name that it wants to in order to protect its brand. True, free speech means that people can say what they want about your company, but if your company is pro-active in registering domain names, it makes it harder for an xyz-sucks site to have a meaningful domain name. Either way, Flickr does indeed ROCK. |

Scared of Santa photo gallery (Dec 21 2004 14:53 GMT) - Santa used to be a friendly old man. Not any more - much like clowns, many people see Santa as an evil person whose only purpose is to frighten small children. Proof of this (as well as being the source of some fantastic photos) comes from the Scared of Santa photo contest. Who could fail to be freaked out by a Santa like this serial-killer-visaged psycho. |
