- Ofcom announced yesterday that it was to launch a new round of 3G licence auctions for 13 new radio spectrum allocations. According to the report, new bidders will be able to offer competitive 3G services cheaper than existing licence holders. The companies that are looking to bid for these new licences include BT and Virgin, but they will have to wait for Ofcom to announce the proceedings and allocation arrangements in the next few weeks.

- CD drive and display - at least with my 12" PB. But I guess the drive was already defective when leaving the apple factory (in China or Taiwan that probably is...) and the display was having the infamous bright spots on it. Praised be the 3 years of warranty I got for 99 Euros.
