SufferInTruth: For Every Animal You Don't Eat, I Will Eat Three! (The Pit Of Zombies) (Dec 22 2004 23:57 GMT) - I was just in Glasgow and there were some vegan/vegetarians with a stand and some pictures of pigs having their throats cut etc, and the slogans THE REAL FACE OF THE MEAT INDUSTRY. This just pissed me off, there were NO sources for these pictures, could've been 30 years old, who is to say that the animal wasn't already dead and they were simply butchering the carcass for consumption? I really do not see the point in vegetarianism. I think Maddox covered all the necessary points and would like to see a vegetarian come up with a reasonable argument against it. |
