Dumb-asses! (Dec 24 2004 01:29 GMT) - Ok, how big of a dumb-ass do you have to be to put on a military flack vest and tell your buddy to shoot you in the chest? That's exactly what these two chuckle-heads decided to do, except when one of the men shot his buddy with the vest on, the bullet penetrated the vest and killed the man after going through his heart. These guys were way old enough, at 20 and 30 years old, to know better than to pull some stupid shit like that, don't you think? I just can't believe that out of these two men, neither had the common sense to say, "hey, maybe we shouldn't do this!" and put the gun away. |

CSS positioning in IE - What am I doing wrong? (Dec 24 2004 01:26 GMT) - Hi whelanska, Welcome to the forums. It's nice to see you diving into the use of CSS for your second site. Hopefully the thread that Diane pointed you towards will help you with the IE problem. I did want to add that I think you are using the right approach by first designing the site usinig Firefox, and then seeing what you need to do to get Internet Explorer to work well, too. Since Firefox tends to be more standards compliant, most CSS should work correctly on it. |
