bungers Investigates™ : Cat Food Uncovered (Dec 24 2004 11:58 GMT) - Following the ILN linkage for 'feline curiosities' I discovered a very interesting article that uncovers some of the ingredients that go into pet food. Cat Food Uncovered In some places, ground-up cats and dogs can end up in pet food. Sanimal of Quebec, Canada mostly process pig and chicken, but rendered approx 18,200 kg of cat and dog flesh each week.Later on in the article you'll discover that by increasing the quantity of vegetable matter in dog food, manufacturers of pet food have been responsible for the greatest mystery known today...the characteristic white dog turds of yesteryear are rarely found; |

seasons greetings and special thanks from the mobile apps club .. [Ajit Jaokar] (Dec 24 2004 11:57 GMT) - Hello all, As another year draws to a close, let me take this opportunity to wish you all a merry Christmas and a happy new year. The club has been running for almost two years now. It has been another great year - a year where both the club and the industry have continued to grow. At the beginning of the year, I mentioned that the club would be more focussed this year. This has taken two forms – an emphasis on innovation and forging of partnerships. |

RED ALERT (Dec 24 2004 11:57 GMT) - This blog now issues a red alert. There will be lots of bigwigs, one of them the POTUS, talking to us on their corporate channels this evening, you know, the usual stuff about The Mockracy, Freedom Fries and all that rot, with some militainment as well. My suggestion is: duck and cover, the duck goes well with a burgundy. Better sing about Rummy the red nosed reigndeer. |

JAPAN'S GOT ROOTS "The problems have been wel... (Dec 24 2004 11:56 GMT) - JAPAN'S GOT ROOTS "The problems have been well publicized: The most rapidly aging society in the world, the highest public debt level in the industrialized world, a decade of falling land and stock prices, declining education standards, rising crime, divorce, suicide, youth delinquency and all-too-frequent scandals involving everyone from elite civil servants to doctors, not to mention politicians and their business associates with their snouts in the trough. But while it's easy to throw your hands in the air and dismiss Japan as a country drowning in a tsunami of its own making--as many have done--it might be worth paying attention to Kingston's important finding: Something positive is happening here. It's just been happening so quietly, so incrementally, that we all missed it. |
