Washington State election results are questionable (Dec 24 2004 18:15 GMT) - This is an alarming picture of a hand counted ballot. The blue arrow points to a mark that a recount worker made denoting that the person who cast this ballot voted for Christine Gregoire. The problem is that the red arrows point to the chads and none are missing or even dented, which means this person did not cast a vote for Governor. To be fair, there are only two possibilities that could account for this error. Either a recount worker counted the vote by mistake, or did it intentionally. |
