US Long-Term Mortgage Rates Move Up This Week (Dec 29 2004 23:22 GMT) - Long-term mortgage rates around the United States moved up this week, but rates on 30-year mortgages for all of 2004 registered their second-lowest year on record, the mortgage wholesaler Freddie Mac reported today. Rates on 30-year, fixed-rate mortgages rose this week to 5.81 percent from 5.75 percent last week. |
