There is hope....... [Louis Sequeira] (Dec 31 2004 00:36 GMT) - I made a comment on the weblog posted here by Mark Posen on Dec-29, entiled Tsunami: Compassion, yes... but anger too. Later on I spoke with some people I know and find that there is hope after all. It offers no immediate consolation to those that have been affected by the current crisis, but there is hope for the future. |

Recommendation for Windows/IIS-based Hosting, USA (Dec 31 2004 00:35 GMT) - Hi folks .... Am setting up a site that will have limited material and interactivity (mostly a few forms) for the foreseeable future. So most hosts offer plenty of bandwidth and HD space. What I really want to hear is recommendations for hosts that are reliable and responsive. No downtime, great support, great service. |

Iptables til router (Dec 31 2004 00:34 GMT) - jeg har en maskine, der står som router/DHCP, med 3 netkort. Men pt. døjer jeg med at få hul igennem. Jeg kan pinge fra pc til linux-router og fra router til ASDL-router. Men ikke fra PC til ADSL router og derfor intet hul.. |

You don't have to be Christian to respect Christianity (Dec 31 2004 00:34 GMT) - Last week, this commentary page carried an opinion piece by Ibrahim Hooper, who represents the Washington-based Council on American-Islamic Relations. Reflecting the season's sentiments of peace and good will, Hooper wrote of the commonalties of Islam and Christianity. Among other things, he noted that "disrespect toward Jesus, something we have seen all too often in our society, is very offensive to Muslims." For some Christian readers, however, it was Hooper's comments that gave offense. "Can anything be more disrespectful," wrote an Illinois man, "than the Quran's denying that (Jesus) was crucified and raised from the dead? |
