Tsunami tragedy (Dec 31 2004 16:17 GMT) - I felt like I was obliged to say something about the tsunami disaster, but I couldn't think of anything original to say. It's terrible and catastrophic and disgusting. I didn't really have anything to add to what all of the bloggers around me have said and I felt bad about that. Yesterday on the news they were having a story about the Americans that were killed/missing (because American news loves Americans) and I suddenly had the feeling that someone had recently told me they were going to Thailand for Christmas Break. I can't remember who. |
