White bits in my calendar (Dec 31 2004 18:43 GMT) - I've spent way too much time on this, this morning. I'm trying to get back to my old look&feel for my blog. I'd almost got that by using my previous Weblog and _css files from the earlier version of roller, but I had two problems: The category list wasn't showing up below my "A DUMPING GROUND FOR WHAT'S ON MY MIND RIGHT NOW" sub-title. There were white areas before and after the dates in the calendar on the top right of the page. |

You must wear appropriate behavior at all times (Dec 31 2004 18:41 GMT) - When I read that the Indian Ocean quake had altered the earth's rotation slightly and may have even caused the earth's tilt to wobble a bit, my first reaction was to write a post pointing to this writing at Jonathon Delacour's, referencing the comment he made last year about ...the only way “the planet will slow on its axis, stop, and then slowly begin to rotate in the opposite direction” is if I switch back to the Macintosh. I was going to ask in the post if he'd received his new Mac yet, but just as I titled the post and was about to publish it, I came to my senses. "Horrors! What are you thinking, Shelley! |

Copying campaigns from one account to another (Dec 31 2004 18:41 GMT) - I've probably spent a grand total of 20 minutes at the command console for Adwords. Surely, if there's a way to import data from something, there's a way to export it, as well - no? Even if it's not a viable format, whipping up a script to alter the format would likely be more time and/or cost effective than a manual re-entry. G. |
