The span of its existence was during these subperiods: Campanian (83.5 - 71 million years ago) Maastrichtian (71 - 65 million years ago) Gallimimus was small, light, and fast. It could run about 43 miles per hour. |

UPI: MIT library considers move to Pittsburgh (Jan 11 2005 19:59 GMT) - Anonymous Patron writes "United Press International says The Burndy Library, located at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Mass., was considering Sunday a move to Pittsburgh. The library, which contains 50,000 rare books, 30,000 secondary titles and assorted other materials, has an agreement with MIT that will expire in August 2007, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported Sunday." |

Library of Congress putting thousands of Civil War maps online (Jan 11 2005 19:59 GMT) - The Reader's Shop writes "Good news for Civil War buffs! The Library of Congress is posting 2,240 Civil war maps and charts and 76 atlases and sketchbooks on the web. The Virginia Historical Society and the Library of Virginia are adding about 600 other civil war items.
