Blogging for sale? [Ian Griffin] (Jan 11 2005 23:46 GMT) - Interesting comment in Tuesday's FT in an article on online advertising: "Marketing services companies, for example, are being hired by companies to "seed" internet chat rooms and web logs with their messages. The idea is to create "buzz", positive word-of-mouth promotion, which is often the best way to increase sales." (p.16, 'Dawn Breaks for online ads but the picture is still cloudy', by Gary Silverman) Anyone been approached to sell space in their blog? |

We expected that these would sould be replaced by much more malicious trojan horse files... and, it appears our one prediction for the new year came true pretty damn fast.
