You know you're thinking too much about software when... The disturbing thing here is, I almost jumped up and cried something along the lines of "YOU'RE NOT THINKING ABOUT THE BIG POLYMORPHIC PICTURE" with bloodshot eyes and foam dripping out of my mouth. Why Privatization of Social Security? (Jan 12 2005 23:24 GMT) - It makes sense for President Bush to try to put Social Security on a more solid financial foundation. Though Social Security is not in crisis now, it probably will be in the future. However, there are many ways to solve the problem, by adding costs or decreasing benefits. Of all the possibilities, Bush chooses the one most likely to precipitate a fight between Democrats and Republicans: privatization. |
