Back in the saddle (Jan 16 2005 23:39 GMT) - If there is still anyone reading this thing, I'm back. I'm really at a loss to describe my reaction to the tsunami. How sad it is. To any who have lost loved ones, my condolences. I'm extremely proud, however, of the generosity shown by the Federal government, the corporate sector and ordinary Australians to the people of Asia. |

SQL join problem (Jan 16 2005 23:37 GMT) - Jeg er lige begyndt at rode lidt med SQL join men har fået et lille problem, jeg har stirret og stirret på det stykke kode og er ved at blive skør ! IA Summit 2005 (Jan 16 2005 23:36 GMT) - Best conference/educational event I've attended was last year's Information Architecture summit, and this year's takes place March 3-7 in Montreal. Intelligent, super-useful case-study presentations, top-notch peer network, and no vendors to hawk their stuff. I can't go this year unless I come up with the dough myself, because my employer doesn't authorize international travel, and Canada is considered international. We'll see. Anyway, if you're designing a Web site and haven't considered IA issues, the first step is to read Lou Rosenfeld's Information Architecture for the World Wide Web, and the next step is to attend this summit. |
