This is a really simple way to go, so I'm liking it. The sound quality to me is ok; if it's driving you crazy please let me know. |

Websites Alone Are Not Enough... (Jan 17 2005 23:44 GMT) - To make maximum money online, you need to mix up your sites. Some should be old-school websites with static content, some should be built with dynamic content management systems, some should be pure forums, and the rest should be weblogs. By mixing your strategies and tools, you're giving yourself the best chance to ride the waves of constantly-changing search engine ranking schemes. |

One Bookstore: Going, Going... (Jan 17 2005 23:44 GMT) - It is now just over 9 hours until the end of the auction for the inventory of one used bookstore. As I move from one phase of my life to the next, the inventory of a bookstore which existed for 26 years in central North Carolina is being sold. Included are many thousands of books. The advertised number is 20,000+, but the actual number is much higher. My own personal estimate is over 30,000 books, and we're still pulling books out to add to the collection. |

Katie Couric as CBS Evening News AnchorBabe? (Jan 17 2005 23:44 GMT) - Time is reporting that Katie Couric has been approached by CBS to anchor the CthBS Evening News. She would be a good fit. Replacing a biased liberal male anchor with a biased liberal female anchor could possibly help bring up the ratings. Being in third place, there are no real worries about how trustworthy Rather is considered. That the American public tends to trust a female anchor less won't matter. |

iPod Shuffle May Not Do What You Want (Jan 17 2005 23:43 GMT) - If I were in charge of iPod marketing, I'd be especially concerned that first-time buyers who get a shuffle won't fully appreciate the magic of iPod, because they'll miss the joy of getting the music they want at the exact moment they want to hear it. Frida Review (Jan 17 2005 23:42 GMT) - When Frida was released into theatres I had absolutely no desire to see it. I'm neither a fan of Salma Hayek, biopics in general, and biopics about artists especially.
