Keep on rockin (Jan 18 2005 10:58 GMT) - I used to play my guitar every day. Now I don't. I really think that I should, although my fingers have gone soft now and I have pain. The problem as usual is time, with writing every day and work and the kids and eating and finding some time to actually talk to my wife....Perhaps I should set myself the goal of playing a Joe Satriani song by the end of the month? |

Wireless Devices: Just what the doctor ordered (Jan 18 2005 10:57 GMT) - Note: registration required to view the entire article."It has been a common refrain when explaining the backward state of IT in much of Australia's health system that medicos are wary of technology. That is why handwritten notes are still scrawled on paper files and why, until recently, X-rays were usually printed on film and then viewed through light boxes. But the fault lies not with a technological aversion but with funding, says Jenny O'Brien, chief information officer for StVincent's Hospital in Melbourne. |

RSS Aggravation (Jan 18 2005 10:56 GMT) - Are feeds implied licenses, or can they alter express ones? I don't think there's an easy answer, but a court could be asked this question before long as businesses built on RSS continue to explore what they can and should be doing with the material they aggregate. Marty Schwimmer (Bloglines, no thanks), Dennis Kennedy (don't make me put ads in my feed), and Robert Scoble (people who live in full post houses shouldn't throw republication stones) have more.
