Ecommerce - Fraud prevention - Tips [Martin Goetz-Jablonowski] (Jan 18 2005 11:57 GMT) - Having run and supported ecom sites large and small I recently revalidated the check list we use to prevent fraudulent transactions. I've written these points up in a blog and would be delighted to receive further comments and/or tips experiences to help make this more public. A quick ecom fraud check list By using these points stringently we have lost the odd transaction fee but no shipment as of yet. My best tip is: If it sounds too good it very probably is - don't accept it! |
