- I have been thinking about the implications of using nofollow and have come to the conclusion that I will not support the technology on this site. On a whole, I think nofollow is a good thing. For environments like Blogger and TypePad which host massive numbers of weblogs I think forcing nofollow will help curb comment spam overall. However, my weblog already implements anti-spam measures, enough that comment spam is never published and therefore, never indexed. With that in mind, I will not have my friends and legitimate commenters suffer PageRank denial just to say I have nofollow in place. |
