This time EA has signed an exclusive 15-year licensing deal with ESPN. Not One Damn Bit of Good? (Jan 22 2005 23:21 GMT) - For all the pomp, circumstance and fundraising dollars it entails, a typical American presidential inauguration is a remarkably ordinary experience, a day that many Americans, whatever their political affiliations, spend doing pretty much nothing special. But this year, as part of a curious protest called Not One Damn Dime, some small number of left-leaning Americans spent Inauguration Day doing pretty much nothing at all, on purpose. |

Review: ELX Power Server 1.0 (Jan 22 2005 23:21 GMT) - "Abhi explained that the main reason that ELX built Power Server was to provide an easy to install platform to support both Oracle Forms and Oracle Database. Abhi claims that Power Server is essentially a plug and play platform for Oracle. There is an Oracle configuration rpm in the Utils directory of the CD. This single rpm makes ELX Power Server 100% ready for Oracle database and Formserver install." Story |

"Just a little bit of history repeating" (Jan 22 2005 23:20 GMT) - Let's face it, we humans are disgusting. The latest atrocity, unusually, doesn't stem from the Bush misAdministration, but rather from Botswana. Firefox flies into over drive (Jan 22 2005 23:20 GMT) - So, you love using Firefox and feel that it is the fastest browser a person could possibly need? Personally, I think it is fast, but the fastest? That remains to be seen. Still, I found mention of a cool tweak at The Inquirer that might help to put the browser into over drive so you can get things moving at a speed that even you will find satisfactory!#8230; |
