The infamous 10 page web site package (Jan 22 2005 23:55 GMT) - Quote: "I believe this helps the credibility of the website and increases the odds of a customer feeling they want to do business with the company." Exactly why it should go into the template for a web site. Unless, of course, the whole content-driven, information superhighway thing goes the way of the vacuous mission statement. I posed this question in the chat forum, but I'll answer it here. |

Not the worst - BUT (by: skuff) (Jan 22 2005 23:52 GMT) - not the worst site ever - but, I was asked to review this site and come up with a reason why no-one has contacted them via the site and how come its not registering on search engines.Well - it didnt take long to realise what was going on - this is an excellent example of what NOT to do with flash. All very fancy - oooo - but please - pretencious - i think that is an understatement.Needless to say I ripped into it with an amazing email describing the ins-and-outs of web useability and content presentation - sometime I really do enjoy my job Now - I will say - it actually does have some good content in it - but lets see how you guys get on with it - interesting is a word I would use - in what sense - well, I let you decide www. manhattanloft. |

Not Sure What This Is?? (by: Jodi) (Jan 22 2005 23:52 GMT) - I just found this site, I'm not really sure what they are trying to accomplish. This is my vote for the worst site though!<a href="http: |

Downtime (Jan 22 2005 23:52 GMT) - For those who noticed, I had a few hours downtime earlier today. Rather than futz around with it and to get it working, I simply restored from a fresh backup. Of course that caused problems as well, and everything took longer than it should.
