Jonathan's Garage Warming Party - Wickford (Jan 23 2005 23:10 GMT) - Yesterday evening the Ultralab team were invited to the home of Jonathan Furness for a birthday party to celebrate Jonathan's 28th birthday. After a rebrand of the occasion to 'Garage Warming Party' a healthy number turned up to celebrate Jonathan's Erection of a new Garage. For the occasion, Claire and myself made a very cheesy Pineapple & Cheese hedgehog (see picture above). All garage party animals were encouraged to 'bring something interesting to do or eat' and the party was hosted by Katie & Jonathan in Jonathan's Bungalow, Wickford. Pete Bradshaw was event record logistical manager for the event, and here are Pete's Pictures from Jonathan's Garage Warming Party. |

Ubisoft says Christmas sales decline, record Q4 figures (Jan 23 2005 23:09 GMT) - French publisher Ubisoft has announced details of its third quarter sales performance, revealing that despite good performance from all of its titles, a reduced line-up meant that overall revenues fell year on year. Both of the company's major titles for the quarter performed strongly, with Prince of Persia Warrior Within selling 1.9 million copies in its first month while Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 2 shifted 1.4 million units in seven weeks. However, the total sales figure fell 18 per cent year on year, from 228 million Euro in Q3 2003/04 to 186 million Euro in the same period this year, as Ubisoft moved many of its major titles into the fourth financial quarter. |
