Multiple iPods is not a problem (Jan 28 2005 03:57 GMT) - I asked a Lazyweb question a couple of weeks ago, wondering aloud whether multiple iPods worked well together on a single computer. Ryan Ozawa found an affirmative answer on the Apple site, and my cousin confirmed this with another family member. Of course, I still don't have a single iPod, and don't see a need, but there you are. |

VB6 - MsgBox Limits (Jan 28 2005 03:57 GMT) - I wasn’t aware of this until someone asked me tonight, but did you know that VB6’s MessageBox (MsgBox) has a limit to the length of the prompt? Well, it does. |

See You at LegalTech New York? (Jan 28 2005 03:57 GMT) - I finally put an end to the Hamlet-like approach to LegalTech New York I've had over the last month and have decided to attend LegalTech this year. I'll also be attending a meeting for the Corporate Legal Standard's newly-created Law Department Benchmarking Standards Panel and Committees, of which I am a member. My plan is pretty simple - to meet as many people and learn as much as I can about what is happening in legal technology as is possible in three days. Marty "The Trademark Blog" Schwimmer called me today so we could set up something so we could meet in person for the first time. He expects to be available around 5: |

Helpline Comment (29901) (Jan 28 2005 03:57 GMT) - You'll need to install either the MSN or Google Tool bar. However I suggest downloading and installing Mozilla Firefox, the pop up blocking is right there in the browser and over all it's a good browser. < Axle Rom 12:2a Eph 5:18 www. |

Am I too late?... (Jan 28 2005 03:56 GMT) - Work was cake today, although I didn't make squat from the rubes. I had four groups from Wisconsin today, four! Seriously, what are they putting in the water in that state? |

The Week in Review (Jan 28 2005 03:55 GMT) - So here it is. Here I am. Awake and at my personal computer for longer than 10 minutes. It's still past my new bed time, but oh well. It all started last Wednesday when I got the call. |

Why did you do this to me? (Please comment) (Jan 28 2005 03:54 GMT) - Why did you do this to me? (Please comment)You walked out when I got pregnant with your baby,You said that you didnÂ’t want to have anything to do with me or our child. You just walked out and never came back,And I had to do it all by my self.I did what I could to try to make my babyÂ’s life good,But I lost her...It was the worst day off my life, When the doctor told me that she was gone. |

Like the first crocus of Spring (Jan 28 2005 03:54 GMT) - At a Samizdata social gathering a few months back, one of the attendees (I think it was Patrick Crozier) posed the question of how much influence the blogosphere was having on the 'real' world. The answer I gave at the time was plain and direct: none. A rather negative prognosis for sure but sincere and truthful as far as I was concerned. However, my candour was not well-received. |

Internment (Jan 28 2005 03:54 GMT) - Although Samizdata concerns itself with more important things than mere politics (thankfully for our collective sanity), it seems wrong that we should pass let without record the government's announcement of its intention to introduce indefinite executive detention for UK citizens. For those who missed the vigourous Parliamentary debate (which must have lasted at least 15 minutes), in future anyone may be locked up indefinitely in their own home on the say-so of the Home Secretary,... |

Meeting With Shoreline's Black Student Union (Jan 28 2005 03:53 GMT) - Following the inertia of meeting with the Muslim Student Association on Tuesday, I met with some members of Shoreline's Black Student Union yesterday. This visit was, again, fairly impromptu. Dr. Johnson, the club advisor, made introductions at the beginning... |

Malice by Vivendi Universal: Best for younger gamers (Jan 28 2005 03:53 GMT) - Malice was supposed to be released back in 2001, as a platformer in the style of Ratchet and Clank. When it finally came out in 2004, it had become dated, but still fun. Much like other games of its style, you go around collecting objects. You collect heart-pieces to gain more health, and mana ...
