- Well thanks to the fine advice above I got that Trojan kicked out and also booted out salm.exe at the same time since that seemed to be poised to do something I wouldn't like (It can send out info on activity occurring within the computer.) I already have Spybot but thought I should perhaps get the Personal Edition of Adaware again from Lavasoft. So I downloaded it and it looked as though it had correctly installed. However when I try to do a Smart Scan of the computer within a short time a small Window pops up The title says 'System Shutdown' and I am informed that the System will close down in 30 seconds and I should save all data. |
