e-crime set to soar in 2005 [John Bancroft] (Feb 04 2005 09:59 GMT) - Both online shopping and online fraud are to increase in equal measure during 2005, according to a new report. The group also project that twenty million UK shoppers will spend £17 billion online this year, and that by 2009 as much as 25 per cent of UK shopping will be done via the internet. More here This is worrying as I am looking at introducing the capability for people to pay for products on my new web site. What sort of systems are out there to stop online fraud? |
