Nasal Leakage (Feb 11 2005 22:40 GMT) - « An empty coatrack at the end of the evening. The chewing gum stuck to one leg is a nice touch. » How do you explain to a puppy that you are not personally responsible for the snow melting into a hard and icy substance that he can no longer dive into and it refuses to give when he somersaults himself to the ground and rolls trying to get it to submit? |

Yahoo! Toolbar Beta for Mozilla Firefox (Feb 11 2005 22:39 GMT) - I believe there is a plugin to add the Google toolbar to Firefox, but it isn't done by Google themselves. Impressive to see Yahoo beat them to the punch. I really have nothing funny, geeky, sexy, intelligent to say about this sadly, but I figured just announcing it might just work. Actually I do have something funny. Here is a newsclip about the release. |

Will Google Own Firefox? (Friday, Feb 11) (Feb 11 2005 22:37 GMT) - Ever since Ben Goodger -- Firefox lead developer -- took a job at Google recently, lots of people have been speculating about whether or not Google will attempt to either "take over" the Firefox browser or produce some customized version of it. Admittedly, I have neither the business nor the technological acumen that the folks at Google do, so it's pretty silly of me to second-guess what they're planning to do in the browser arena. But then again, most of the other people who are spreading rumors and ideas about this whole thing also lack such acumen, so I'll just close my eyes and jump into the fray. On the one hand, I'm sure Mr. Goodger was hired because he's a smart guy (I don't know him, but it's a reasonable assumption). |
