AlphaBeta 1.0b2 (Feb 28 2005 23:32 GMT) - AlphaBeta is just a basic tool that I need daily (and nightly as a matter of fact): a project monitor/automator/manager that can take care of my automated build system for me, a wrapper around Xcode, really (except that it can work headless). So, as long as you don't have any weird script phase in your builds, it should be totally non-destructive. Version 1.0b2 offers Drag and drop reordering, Drag and drop copying and HTML report generation. |

Screw the caffeine. Lose weight naturally! (Feb 28 2005 23:32 GMT) - Modern living often means a diet of fast foods and quick energy needs. This can lead to obesity and many people are overweight due to inactivity and years of eating the incorrect foods. Comfort eating, or eating to fulfill emotional needs is another important cause of weight problems. While fashion dictates that we need to be slim and attractive, many women embark on a series of yo-yo diets or even purging in order to lose weight and conform to society's vision of beauty. This may lead to short-term weight loss, but in the long run it disturbs the metabolism and makes the weight more and more difficult to lose. |

Violating America's Dumbest Laws (Feb 28 2005 23:32 GMT) - Two British students, Richard Smith and Luke Bateman, have researched America's stupidest laws and are spending this summer travelling from state to state, violating them — via Boing Boing Starting in the liberal state of California, they hope to evade the attention of local police officers when they ride a bike in a swimming pool and curse on a crazy-golf course. In the far more conservative — and landlocked — state of Utah, they will risk the penitentiary when they hire a boat and attempt to go whale-hunting. |
