Firefox doused by monster security patch (Feb 28 2005 23:25 GMT) - And faces criticism from Internet organisations. Mozilla has released a security update for its Firefox browser, claiming to pre-empt a potential spoofing vulnerability. Firefox 1.0.1 fixes 17 security flaws, the most serious of which could allow an attacker to gain full control over a victim's PC, the Mozilla Foundation said. |
