Good Morning (Mar 04 2005 14:28 GMT) - I am having my first cup of coffee, listening to Lebanese electronica band Soap Kills and wearing a wool hat over my kinky hair. It's day 3 of crappy weather here in Austin, and I just looked at the Bookpeople calneder of events and realized it's been way too long since someone exciting came through to read. Lauren Bacall is coming next week, but I would hardly call her literary. Still, I have visions of her calling me mean antiquated words for "whore" (trollop is an old favorite. Tart, too) as I approach her and ask her to sign my non-existent "How To Marry A Millionaire" DVD. |
