Vonage - This was in the paper tonight about the outage (Mar 05 2005 23:37 GMT) - Vonage Internet service has outage however, as evidenced by the Vonage outage, the technology hasn't fully matured to the point where it can provide the nearly 100 percent reliability of traditional phone lines.Schulz declined to describe the nature of Thursday's software upgrade, saying that Vonage performs software upgrades as often as once a week without issue. Considering how much I'm saving comapred to having copper, I'll take that chance. Besides, when I had Bellsouth, it wasn't 100% reliable, either. Like the time that moron hit the utility pole drunk and took out phone service for 12 hours! |
