Gas Price Surge Feared (Mar 05 2005 23:26 GMT) - With oil already trading as high as $53 a barrel and climbing, gas prices are expected to soar. CNN reports that by the end of this month gas prices could climb as much as 24 cents a gallon. That would put gas at $2.16 a gallon nationwide on average -- much higher than the record $2.06 hit in May, 2004. |
