I enjoyed playing Lineage II in the beta stage but did not find it worth $15 a month to continue playing. This looks great, but is it legal? How could an... |

Brave New World (Mar 06 2005 19:58 GMT) - I wonder if the prime minister thinks his advice should apply to his own children?: JOHN Howard has urged young people to consider quitting school in Year 10 to pursue careers in traditional trades as the nation faces a growing shortage of skilled workers. Sixteen years after the Hawke government promised Australia would become the "Clever Country", the Prime Minister said the nation had developed a "deep-seated" cultural stigma against technical vocations. Mr Howard said yesterday that school leavers who learnt a trade often ended up much better off than if they had continued on with a university education. D&D gains another critic... (Mar 06 2005 19:55 GMT) - Teens in Israel need to find a new hobby: Incoming recruits to Israel's Defense Forces (Tzahal) who divulge playing Dungeons & Dragons are being flagged with low security clearance and psychological disorders. New guidelines are in place that limit D&D hobbyists from being considered for sensitive army positions such as Sayeret Mat'Kal, one of the most elite designations of Tzahal. |
